The house music has been crazy this summer. The festivals have enlarged, the festivals have spread. The Olympics are almost over, go USA Basketball! I swear there ought to be a friendly Olympics amongst the many producers out there. A track contest, quickest produced track etc. Anyway, I'm interested to hear your stories from this summer's gigs. Any thoughts or stories, leave em in the comments section! Although, I've only seen Avicii this summer, thanks to Utah's poor skill of drawing in talented house producers; however, I'm looking forward to seeing Lazy Rich this month - one of the best electro house producers there is. So, in honor of my excitement to see him up close soon, I've added one of his tracks that is finally out on Beatport. one that he made along with one of my favorite producers, Chris Lake. On top of that, I have 5 other tunes I hope bring a smile to your face (including what could be the final single by the mafia we love most). Turn it up loud and party to it - this fine Saturday night.
Hardwell's newest remix - here's a lengthy preview.
My roommate, who doesn't listen to house at all shared this with me just yesterday - I've been behind on my Florence. Love the vocals over this brilliant, simple house tune from Calvin Harris.
Afrojack: My favorite. Even when he does make tracks with Will.I.Am....
Something tells me I mightttt have put this youtube up a long, long time ago. I apologize if you remember it and are disappointed in me putting it up again. It's official, it's available for purchase via Beatport. What A Tune...
Here it is, freshly ripped from Pete Tong's show on BBC Radio 1. The Swedes with the relatively - long - awaited "Don't You Worry Child." It has the feel of a "We Came. We Raved." feel to it, but if it were up to me, I'd demand a better banger for a final SHM track. Either way it's good producing. Enjoy it!
