Aggressively Progressive: The Eric Prydz Effect

Prydz this past weekend totally changed the way VCHxAPT looks at progressive house.  Check it actually he changed the way APT looks at Prog House. It does NOT have to just be a cute piano melody with a chick singing. While i love that shit more than anything, He showed how there is soooooo much more dope shit that can be learned from the different genres like techno and trance. But he was unreal.

So here is my regular old progressive house. But my mission is to find more prydz like tracks to blow your mind right in front of your face. yup.

Love Jason Mraz vocals and The Kids at The Bar really do a sick job blending a electro sound in a progressive track. And I am still a sucker from looping and effects on vocals.

Jason Mraz - I Won't Give Up (Kids At The Bar Remix)

Ever Since Joonas released the terrible unique and wonderful Sahilua He has been on my radar. While take me away does not disappoint it is not the unique and fuego bomb that sahilua was.

Joonas Hahmo, Neea - Take Me Away (Original Mix)

These Next two are straight power Progressive tracks the bass hits hard and the melodies are fresh. Solid B efforts from Pixel Cheese and DJ M.E.G.

Shakedown - At Night (Pixel Cheese 'Wants To Be Swede' Mix)

DJ M.E.G. - Stock-Holm (Original Mix)

These two are just your standard progressive house tracks. When I talk about complacency in EDM this is what I am talking about. Don't get me wrong, They are beautiful but I listen to this shit enough on BPM cmon boys. And Carlo where is he unique flavor from "if you would"!?

Carlo Astuti - The Storm Is Coming (Original Mix)

Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike - Tomorrowland Anthem 2012 (Original Mix)
