This week to celebrate the coming of summer break, Vaya Con House is giving you a double dose of some hard-hitting mixtapes from The Partysquad and Dada Life.
The Partysquad dub themselves "eclectic" at the beginning of this mix. I guess I would concur with that statement. The epitomize what the Mad Decent crew is all about: breaking the boundaries of electronic music sub-genres and allowing themselves to implement all forms of music. This mix touches on everything from electro to dubstep to tech-house to disco to.... wait for it... hip hop. Yes, I said it. This is what Open Format is all about.
Dada Life is always coming at you hard with no sympathy. These guys have become some of the premier mastheads not only for Swedish DJ's but electro house in general. Famous for their heavy synths and grimey basslines in their tracks, this mixtape carries the signature Dada Life sound.
