So this Thursday is a big one in terms of the face melting electro house tracks that have been released this week. And what better day to post them then on a Thursday to get you going for your work-night out on the town. And yes the title is a Ferris Buehler's Day Off reference.
Swanky Tunes and Hardwell have finally released their killer track "Phantom". The builds are great, the drops even greater. The samples also remind me of Afrojack and R3hab's track "Aces High" which I think the best track either those guys has dropped (and that's saying something). So just quit reading and start dancing.
Pierce Fulton released his new EP Take Me Home earlier this week and I am in love. Like stalkerishly in love with it. "Pardon My French" is definitely my favorite track off the EP and hopefully you will all understand why...
A little more Tommy Trash you say? Why surely. His track "Future Folk" really throws down a mix of classic electro house and a little progressive sound. Not to mention the deep keyboard riffs he uses in the drops are unbelievably addicting.
Now I have to confess I did not have any Bassjackers on my computer until I started looking them up this morning. After listening to a few tracks, its easy to believe that these guys will be tearing up the EDM scene with brute force. Here is a couple of tracks by this dynamic duo. And pardon the little robot talking in the start of their remix to "Check It Out", if you want the real deal, go to beatport.
Zedd as always kills it with every track he makes. So this one should be no different. I know this song came out last spring when Skrillex was doing the whole "Free Treats" thing, but it would be a travesty not to give this Zedd beat a shout out. The vocals and powerful drums make this song timeless. So with no further adieux, here is "Changes".
