It's been a long time since I've caught wind of any big moves by Major Lazer after "Pon de Floor". But with this new track "Original Don" they are back in their natrural form of making some great electro dance hall-esque tracks. For this one, the dynamic duo of Diplo and Switch have teamed up with the Party Squad who definitely add a little flavor to this Moombahton track Major Lazer delivers to us. This is one you got to check out, because Major Lazer is officially back in full force with lazer samples, horns, and bass and snare drums and just pure madness:
Speaking of comebacks, Justice is back at it releasing some classic Justice tracks. It seems like they've really been hunkering down in the studio trying to pump out as much good music as they can after a little time on the back burner of the EDM scene. But make no mistake, they are back and these two tracks, "Cannon" and "Newlands", are just two of the many jams this dynamic duo are coming out with to reclaim their throne as one of the great EDM groups:
American born DJ George F. Zimmer has come out with a fantastic EP, One Last Dance. So far I loved every track on it. I am really hoping that the EP title is not stating actual retirement for Zimmer (which is what is being speculated now) because these three tracks are just examples of what good progressive house truly is. Take a listen for yourself.
** Tracklist:
0:00-3:30 - Silence ft. Romina Andrews
3:30-5:40- One Last Dance
5:40- Sacrifice
All three tracks in their entirety are available on Beatport
