So came across this Hungarian duo, saw their name and didn't take them very seriously. But their electro-house bass lines and synths are no joke, these guys brew up some serious jams. Here are two songs off their new EP Labyrinth. You'll notice both songs are old Greek names... couldn't tell you why that is, but these are some seriously tasty treats for your Thursday night playlist.
This first one is "Ariadne". It has some greats synthed keyboard riffs in the middle part of the song that I think really help the beat drop hardd for the end of the song.
This next song "Icarus" is my personal favorite of the three. Don't understand why it's named after a guy in a story who crashed and burned terribly for flying too close to the sun, but hey, who am I to judge? This song is definitely going on repeat for the weekend for my ipod this weekend. Speaking of rest easy Steve Jobs, you had an such an enormous effect on our society and our advancement in technology. And I'm sure that your innovation was a huge building block to the advancement of electronic music. So this one's for you Steve, rock on.
