Columbus Day Jammin

Now I'm hoping most of you are enjoying this day off from work or school or whatever it is you do between the hours of 9 and 5 Monday through Friday. But we all know in reality not all of us are blessed to have this autumn day off. And with that in mind, there is two seperate thoughts in mind for this post: to cater to those who had to drag their ass to work today; and to those continuing party like it's still Saturday. So first, here's to those of you who got the shaft today and were up before 9... our hearts go out to you.

This Zeds Dead track, "Coffee Break" is a mellow elecrto jam to help ease you through a tough Monday in the library or at the office. And it's title and easy going samples are definitely fitting for today...

And for those of you who are still going at it living it up this weekend, I got a few tracks to snap you out of lethargy and back into drinking mode. This first one I wanted to put up on Friday but I wasn't to be bothered with technology then. So here is a little remix of Sneaky Sound System's track by Oliver V. I already loved the vocals but now adding an extra helping of funk to the song definitely will help you get off the couch and back to enjoying this day the way it was meant to be; drinking outside while you still can.

Hardwell was gracious enough to bless us today with the release of his track "Cobra" that I previewed earlier in the week in hype of its release. And just the same as the snippet of the track we heard on the teaser, this whole track definitely lives up to the hype with it's almost moombahton drums progressive synthed keyboard melodies.
